Some tips and my point of view for job hunting in italy.

If you are considering get a job in Italy you can look for a job directly from the company website – “Lavora con Noi” or/and most of the hiring process and positions are available on “Agenzie Internali”, those are private agencies, most international ones, that the positions are available on their website of them.

Not forgetting the “centro per impiego”.

The difficulty in getting a job directly in a company is how to get your resume seeing through some many others – use keywords about your skills, courses but I would say the best, is the referral and networking.

With the “Agencia Internale”, you can find even from “lavori precari” (would it’s not required experience, graduation… etc), lavoro stagionale (season jobs), even a good job. Here the process could be  little bit longer, you send your cv online, then you do an interview with the agency, they prepare your profile regarding how was the interview and send to the company.

Sometimes your work contract can be temporary with the agency or temporary with the company or even better permanent with the company (the best one that can happen with you 🙂 )

Getting a job with contract with the agency, could be cheaper for the company (talking about governmental taxes).

Many Regions help with free courses for those whose don’t have a job, in Veneto there is the Assegno per Lavoro, in my case, I did a coaching sections for the job hunting, I studied German (Veneto), Accounting (Lombardy), Digital Marketing (Milan/Lombardy)  and a Master in International Management (Emilia Romagna), it’s great to learn new skills, to meet new people and also to understand the Italian “working” mindset.

Most of the agencies will recommend you to use the europass resume, me, as a very analytical person – when I’m applying for jobs, I do text which resume performs better – what I mean, which one I can get more interviews, and in my aerea – marketing, was never the europass to give me the higher results. But you can ask, how is the point to get so many interviews?!? You could be asking to yourself… so, it’s practice, meeting people, building connections, and I can tell you that a job interview in Milan is different from one in Verona (where I live) to not say about interviews in Rome, you can identify from the HR, the questions… and etc off course big and international companies also the process of hiring it’s so different from a small one.

A day Experiencing great wines – marvellous flavours!!

As the other editions, Vinitaly 2024  reaffirm the place of the best wine event in Europe, one of the principal events in Verona.

Not only for the perfect location with many Wineries, but also with the great Italian’s hospitality, the love for the wine producers work, the love for the territory, the passion for the Made in Italy, the passion to continuous the work for a family generation, the love to produce an amazing wine.

For me this is just amazing, to recognise the traditional of past generations in family, young people who want to keep their family business with passion, quality and innovation.

The Referendum on June 9th in Italy

With the Prime Ministerial Decree of 31 March 2025, published in the Official Journal no. 75 on the same date, the following meetings were convened: Popular abrogative referendums pursuant to art. 75 of the Constitution, declared admissible by judgments of the Constitutional Court no. 11, no. 12, no. 13, no. 14 and no. 15, of 20 January – 7 February 2025, with the progressive number corresponding to the order of filing of the related requests in the Court of Cassation and the following names:

• Employment contract with increasing protections – Regulation of unlawful dismissals: Repeal;
• Small businesses – Dismissals and related compensation: Partial repeal;
  Partial repeal of the provisions relating to the application of a term to the subordinate employment contract, to the maximum duration and to the conditions of extension and renewal;
  Exclusion of joint liability of the client, contractor and subcontractor for damages suffered by an employee of a contractor or subcontractor, as a result of the specific risks inherent in the activity of the contractor or subcontractor: Repeal;
• Italian citizenship: Halving from 10 to 5 years of the period of legal residence in Italy of the non-EU adult foreigner for the recognition of Italian citizenship.

As many of you must know, in Italy to vote is not mandatory as other countries like Brazil.

When a Mother Chooses to Remain Secret

The birth of a child is an extraordinary event that profoundly impacts a woman’s life on emotional, relational, and practical levels. However, not all women are able to embrace their motherhood due to various personal and social reasons that must be listened to, understood, and acknowledged.

During pregnancy, especially in cases where the mother faces significant difficulties in meeting the child’s needs, it is crucial to provide qualified support to protect both the woman and the newborn. This ensures that no rushed or dramatic decisions are made at the time of birth. Women must be supported, guided, and informed so that their choices are free, conscious, and responsibly made. Effective communication with the mother is fundamental throughout this process.

At the time of delivery, hospitals must guarantee the utmost confidentiality, ensuring that there is no judgment but rather adequate and effective interventions to protect both the mother and child. Even after discharge, the right to an anonymous birth must be upheld. The law recognizes both the mother, who chooses not to recognize the child, and the newborn as distinct individuals, each with specific rights. According to Italian law (DPR 396/2000, Art. 30, paragraph 2), a mother has the right to give birth in complete anonymity and leave the child at the hospital, ensuring both assistance and legal protection. The mother’s name remains confidential, and the birth certificate states, “born to a woman who does not consent to be named.”

Maternal Difficulties and Available Services

Several regions and cities in Italy have launched informational campaigns to prevent cases of traumatic abandonment of newborns. They have enhanced services to support women in crisis and equipped specialized hospitals to handle anonymous births. Providing prompt and appropriate information to pregnant women, along with social, economic, and psychological support, ensures the protection of both mother and child. It also allows the woman to make a free, conscious, and responsible decision about whether to recognize the child.

Hospitals must ensure full implementation of these rights through their medical, social, and administrative staff, in coordination with other institutions responsible for child protection.

**Legal Provisions**

Italian law guarantees the right to conscious and responsible procreation and the protection of maternity. A newborn is legally recognized as a “person” with inherent rights, including identity, name, citizenship, and family status. The law ensures that an unrecognized newborn receives specific care and legal protection to uphold their fundamental rights.

The birth declaration must be made within ten days of birth, allowing the child to obtain a birth certificate, name, and citizenship. If the mother chooses to remain anonymous, the declaration is made by the attending doctor or midwife. According to DPR 396/2000, Art. 30, paragraph 1, “the birth declaration is made by one of the parents, a special attorney, the doctor, the midwife, or another person who assisted in the birth, respecting the mother’s wish to remain unnamed.”

Adoption of an Unrecognized Child

Once an unrecognized newborn is reported to the Juvenile Court, the adoption process begins to ensure the child grows up in a family environment. The adoption procedure guarantees the newborn’s right to family care, granting them the status of a legitimate child of the adoptive parents.

Any reports or communications regarding the child’s legal status must omit the mother’s identity to preserve her anonymity.

Special Cases

A mother who, for serious reasons, cannot immediately recognize her child may request additional time from the Juvenile Court overseeing the adoption process. In such cases, the adoption procedure may be suspended for up to two months, provided the mother maintains consistent contact with the baby.

Recognition can be made by a parent who is at least 16 years old. If the mother is under 16 and wishes to care for the child, the adoption procedure is suspended until she reaches legal age, as long as she maintains a stable and caring relationship with the baby.

Limits on Access to Information

Article 28 of Law 2001 No. 149, in compliance with the 1989 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Art. 7) and the 1993 Hague Convention on International Adoption (Art. 30), introduced the right of adoptees to access information about their biological parents under certain conditions.

However, access to this information is not permitted if the adoptee was not recognized at birth by the biological mother. As stated in Law 2001 No. 149, Art. 24, paragraph 7, “Access to information is not allowed if the adoptee was not recognized at birth by the natural mother, and if either biological parent has declared their wish to remain anonymous or consented to adoption under the condition of remaining unnamed.”

Therefore, the right of a mother to remain anonymous prevails over any other request. This legal provision offers an additional layer of security for women who choose, with the help of competent and attentive services, to give birth anonymously.

Passo-a-passo da Dichiarazioni di Valore.

Ciao,

Recentemente estive no Brasil, e aproveitei a visita para validar meus estudos para que eu possa estudar na Itália.

Contei com a ajuda de uma amiga que tinha feito recentemente Primeiro as Damas e com as informações presentes na página do Consulato italiano de SP.

Reuni os seguintes documentos:
– Certificado de conclusão e histórico escolar do Ensino Médio (peguei os originais de quando terminei o ensino médio);
– Cópia do laudo do diário oficial que conclui o ensino médio;
– Certificado de conclusão e histórico escolar da minha Gradução (peguei os originais de quando terminei a faculdade);
– Conteúdo programático do curso de graduação (este, solicitei recentemente e precisei encadernar e numerar);
– Declaração do conteúdo programático (número de páginas, informações sobre o curso e do aluno);
– Certificado de conclusão e histórico escolar da Pós-Gradução (peguei os originais de quando terminei o curso);
– Declaração da faculdade que tenho interesse em estudar na Itália, que para realizar se inscrever no curso é necessário a declaração de valor.

Foi necessário reconhecer todas as firmas que constavam nesses documentos (a escola/faculdades me indicou o cartório em que podia ser feito), após, solicitei a tradução juramentada para o italiano com a Ala Traduções embora os valores sejam tabelados, fiz uma cotação com 3 empresas e o valor da Ala foi o mais barato. (O laudo do diário oficial do ensino médio, o conteúdo programático do curso de graduação e a declaração da faculdade na Italia, não foram necessários traduzir e apostilar),

Reconheci as firmas das traduções (a tradutora me indicou o cartório onde deveria der feito) e fui para um cartório em Extrema para “aspotilar” (Apostila de Haia), pois, os cartórios de cada estado seguem uma tabela, enquanto, em um cartório em São Paulo o valor cobrado por documento é de R$97,73 + 6,00 de reconhecimento da firma, em Extrema/Minas Gerais o valor foi de R$32,10 por documento, eu havia 07 documentos + 07 traduções. Compensou muito ir para Minas Gerais. Informações do cartório – Cartório Extrema.

Tirei xerox de todos os documentos e traduções (menos o conteúdo progrmático do curso de graduação), do meu documento de identidade e uma carta declarando tudo que eu estava entregando, com minhas informações para contato – endereço, telefone, email).

No consulado italiano em São Paulo o atendimento para a Declaração de valor é feito às terças e quintas-feiras. Levei tudo em uma quinta-feira e na segunda-feira fui avisada por e-mail que eu podia retirá-los.

Tentei detalhar o máximo este processo para reconhecer os diplomas e a declaração de valor dos estudos. Espero ter ajudado a quem tem interesse em validar os estudos e solicitar a declaração de valor.

Italy has its delicious food, from pasta to pizza, wonderful places to visit, stunning beaches, rich history, and culture. However, some Italian characteristics deserve special mention.

Let’s dive into the Top 12 Strange (Funny and/or Sometimes Annoying) Italian Behaviors:

1. They Love to Argue but Hate Criticism

You can say, “Cappuccino after 11 AM is sacrilege,” and they’ll give you a lecture on etiquette. But try telling them their macchiato is just coffee with foam—brace yourself for the drama!

2. The Passion for the Bidet

Seriously, it’s almost a religion. Not having a bidet at home is considered a national scandal.

3. Elevators with Keys

Have you ever seen a building where the elevator operates like a vault? Only those with the magical key get access—everyone else takes the stairs.

4. Endless Bureaucracy

Need a document? Prepare to visit five offices, collect 12 stamps, and hear “Come back tomorrow” at least three times.

5. Rude Public Service

They yell as if you’re deaf, each employee gives you different (and usually incorrect) information, and in the end, they treat you like you’re asking for a personal favor.

6. “Almost” Free Healthcare

It’s not entirely free. You pay a small “ticket” fee (low, yes), but you still feel the weight of every consultation in your wallet and patience.

7. Squat Toilets in the 21st Century

That hole in the ground you expect to find only in archaeological ruins or remote places? Nope, it’s right there in bars and train stations.

8. Speaking Extremely Loud (Especially in the South)

A normal conversation sounds like a street fight. If they’re on the phone, it seems like they’re shouting at the entire world.

9. Excessive Attachment to Family

A 40-year-old grown man with a full beard still calls “mamma” to decide whether to buy a car or which sauce to use for pasta. They don’t stay at home as long as before, but that emotional umbilical cord? It never cuts.

10. Over-the-Top Gestures

Talking isn’t enough—they have to act it out. A discussion about the weather turns into a theatrical performance of flying hands and dramatic expressions, as if the world is ending.

11. A Stagnant Job Market

Getting a job is like winning the lottery: either you have a “godfather” to recommend you, or you pray to Saint Gennaro because opportunities are scarce, and contracts are often temporary or “eternal internships.”

12. Low Salaries and Confusing Unions

Salaries barely cover rent and a decent plate of carbonara. And the unions?

They negotiate collective contracts, sign them, then go on strike because they’re “not happy” with the terms they agreed to—an absurd tragicomedy.

Italy is an amazing country, and these habits are part of the charm and cultural identity of the Italian people. If you plan to visit or live there, now you know what to expect!

così mi chiamava il mio fidanzato italiano…

Però li dicevo che non ero una turista… Che voleva approffondire la storia della mia Famiglia, originaria di Godega di Sannt’Urbano, Treviso.

E alla fine ci sono passati 10 anni in Italia… nella quale, nel blog preccedente ho potuto condividere delle informazioni che a tanti eranno uttile e richieste “qualche” volte… 🙂

Invece, “Dal cornetto al vino”, nasce dall’idea di condividere informazioni interessanti, quelle che non vengono raccontate né dai turisti, né dagli italiani, né dai media.

Condividere esperienze, sia positive che negative, e ricominciare con un altro taccuino bianco… perché no?

Il Dolce far Niente…. alla bella Vita!!!

Dieci anni fa, ho iniziato un Blog, per facilitare le recorrete rechieste di informazione sulla vita in Italia. Da una persona un pò timida, a chi non piaceva iscrivere molto, però essendo tante domenade ricorrente, è stato più facile iscrivere una volta qua, e girare il link quando mi chiedevano.

Il vecchio blog, iniziava così:

“La Turista Brasiliana” che è arivata in Italia con l’idea chiara di lasciare che le cose succedesserò, nella quale una persona molto organizzata e a chi piageva tantissimo pianifficare, avere un piano, ed il piano era non avere un piano!!!

Mi chiamo Camila, sono di San Paolo, ho 33 anni e ho deciso di condividere i miei viaggi, le mie storie, le mie esperienze, ecc.
Ho una laurea in turismo ed eventi, ho lavorato con eventi e marketing, ma il turismo in sé è sempre stata solo una passione, ho sempre amato viaggiare. 🙂
Ho scelto di studiare turismo perché credevo che questo settore si sarebbe sviluppato in Brasile e che avremmo avuto grandi opportunità.
Ho sempre amato andare alle feste, nei festivale e sono sempre stata una festaiola.

Amo stare con gli amici, che sia in discoteca, al bar, a casa, al ristorante…
Ma anche, da brava Cancro, amo stare a casa, guardare film…
